A freestanding pod with your BBQ and outdoor kitchen built in.
A BBQ pod is built to the specifications of your BBQ and outdoor kitchen, combining prep space, storage and a bar fridge in one freestanding unit with integrated LED lighting. It suits courtyards and smaller yards, can sit under an existing patio or on its own, and is transportable if you move home. We supply and install the pod, and connect gas and power.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a patio or outdoor kitchen cost?
It depends on the size, the materials and whether gas, water or power need to be run. After a site visit we give you an itemised written quote, so you can see what is included. If you have a budget in mind, tell us and we will design to it.
How long does a build take?
A BBQ pod can be installed within a day, but takes up to a few weeks to arrive depending on the ordering date and available stock. A patio takes a few weeks to months depending on council approvals and final engineering, but can be installed within 3 to 5 days depending on size. We will provide an estimated schedule at the time of consult.
Do I need council approval for a patio or pergola?
Some roofed structures need approval, depending on size and placement. We tell you what applies to your property at the start and handle the paperwork with you.
Will the materials cope with the local climate?
Yes. We choose materials and finishes that handle strong sun, heat and salt air, and we detail drainage so water runs away from the house.
Can a BBQ pod be upgraded to a full outdoor kitchen later?
No. A BBQ pod is a freestanding pod with the specifications of your BBQ and outdoor kitchen built into it, and it is transportable should you move home. An outdoor kitchen and a BBQ pod differ greatly in design and usability, so we help you choose the right one at the start.
Do you design as well as build?
Yes. We handle design, approvals and construction. If you already have drawings or a clear idea, we can work from those.
